Grouse Mountain

Due to the current Corvid 19 crisis we are closed until further notice.

Located fifteen minutes from downtown Vancouver, Grouse Mountain promises remarkable views and an unparalleled range of mountaintop experiences. Grouse Mountain is a snowy wonderland in winter, providing access to the magical Light Walk, outdoor skating pond, snowshoeing, skiing and snowboarding, and much more.

In summer, Grouse Mountain becomes an adventure seekers paradise, with the new Mountain Ropes Adventure and favourites such as the World Famous LumberJack Show and Birds in Motion Demonstrations. Year-round, visitors can experience ziplining, the remarkable Eye of the Wind tour or dining at The Observatory.

Anyone else scrolling through photos looking back at fun times? We've shared a lot of those fun times together on this mountaintop over the years. We'll start off with a few of our favourites, then it's your turn. Share your favourite #grousememories with us!
We're taking a look back at some of our favourite photos from the 2019-20 winter season. It may have ended sooner than we hoped but it was filled with some great snow, exciting events and so many smiles. Thanks to all of you for the good times. Also, a huge thank you to our amazing staff for your hard work and dedication. We can't wait to hit the slopes with you again next season #grousemountain #explorebclater
During these uncertain times it’s more important that ever to stay connected while doing our part to keep our family, friends and community healthy and safe. We know that Grouse Mountain provides a place of escape and outdoor appreciation for so many and we deeply value this dedicated community. While we’re unable to offer a physical escape, we're going to be 'Bringing the Mountain to You' through ongoing updates, photos, wildlife news and more. We hope this virtual escape will bring some happiness to your days #grousemountain
Our top priority at Grouse Mountain has always been the health and safety of our guests and employees and for this reason we will be suspending resort operations until further notice. While we had hoped that we could continue to offer our guests a safe, outdoor place of escape, we are taking this action as a precaution. In light of the growing need to encourage social distancing we have made the difficult decision to suspend our operations. We know that this is disappointing news and we did not take the decision lightly. Effective as of 6:00pm Monday March 16, 2020, Grouse Mountain will suspend all operations. During this period there will be no upload or download access to/from the Mountain and all mountaintop and base activities and facilities will be closed. We understand that you will have questions so we anticipate a very high call volume to Guest Services over the coming days. We encourage you to send your questions by email to and we will do our best to respond in a timely manner. Please also watch our website for ongoing updates about our resort operations. We thank you for your support during these challenging times. We look forward to welcoming you back to Grouse Mountain as soon as possible. Sincerely, Michael Cameron President
