Stanley Park Horse-Drawn Tours – Horses have done many different jobs for humans right here in Vancouver’s Stanley Park! Vancouver Art Gallery -  The Modern Woman: Drawings by Degas, Renoir, Toulouse-Lautrec and Other Masterpieces from the Musée d’Orsay, Paris - June 5 to September 6, 2010

In the first exhibition of drawings to travel from the world-renowned collection of the Musée d’Orsay, Paris, Vancouver’s major art museum brings together nearly 100 artworks by celebrated 19th century French artists, including Degas, Gauguin, Manet, Pissarro, Renoir, Toulouse-Lautrec, Seurat and many more. Only presented in Vancouver, this highly-anticipated exhibition provides a unique opportunity for North American audiences to experience rarely seen drawings, many of which have never travelled beyond Paris.
