There are many wonderful holiday events in Vancouver, and near by too, check out some of these popular happenings at our local attractions, don’t delay most require advance booking and spots are filling in quickly.


Vancouver’s favourite Christmas traditions should not be missed again!!  Start with the Festival of Lights at VanDusen Botanical Garden.  Experience a magical winter wonderland with more than one million lights decorating 15 acres of VanDusen Botanical Garden. An enchanting winter garden awaits with themed areas, tasty treats, unique light features, and holiday music. Canyon Lights has returned to Capilano Suspension Bridge Park and is available to enjoy until Sunday, January 23rd, 2022.  New this season – the world-famous bridge will be lit, end to end, with a multi-colour changing display, adding to the magic of crossing the canyon above the illuminated Capilano River. Journey into the rainforest and walk high above the forest floor between the eight tallest Christmas trees in the world on Treetops Adventure. The mesmerizing “Arc de Lumina” light tunnel will once again wrap its way along a portion of Cliffwalk. Ready for a vintage holiday celebration? It's Heritage Christmas at Burnaby Village Museum. Enjoy old-fashioned holiday fun and spectacular lights at this free Christmas event. Located at Deer Lake Park. Family-Friendly Fun. Free Gate Admission. No reservations or vaccine passports required unless you want to ride the Carousel, riders 12 and older need to show their vaccine pass to enjoy the ride.a
