Richmond Olympic Oval

The Olympic Experience, Canada’s Olympic Museum, is a highly interactive and dynamic visitor experience featuring over 400 Olympic and Sport artefacts, touch-screen archives, state-of-the-art sport simulators, and athletic challenges. Covering the history of the ancient and modern Olympic Games, visitors from around the globe can feel patriotic discovering stories and content from home. The experience begins with a 10-minute inspiring feature film, Pursuit of a Dream.


The museum is embedded within the iconic Richmond Olympic Oval, giving visitors an inside view of this award winning Olympic venue, which was home to long-track speed skating during the 2010 Games and has since been converted to a multi-sport facility.

Directions

From Vancouver International Airport
Take Grant McConachie Way to Templeton St
Take a Right on Temple St. and an immediate left onto Miller Rd.
Turn right on Russ Baker Way, to the Dinsmore Bridge.
Take the first right off the bridge onto River Road.

From Downtown Vancouver
Take Howe Street south across the Granville Street Bridge to the Arthur Laing Bridge (approximately 70 blocks).
Take the Russ Baker Way exit, cross the Dinsmore Bridge.
Take the first right off the bridge onto River Road.

From Victoria via Tswassen Ferry Terminal
Take Highway #17 to Highway #99 Northbound Exit (approximately 7 minutes)
Travel Highway #99 to exit #36 West (Westminster Hwy) 
Turn right on Gilbert, turn left on Elmbridge, and right on Hollybridge and a left on River Road.
